The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) offers:

• 26-subjects in total
• 12 core business subjects
• 6 specialisation subjects
• 6 elective subjects
• 2 WIL (Work Integrated Learning) subjects.

The degree focuses on interrelated business areas of the accounting profession differentiating it from other accounting courses, providing you with flexibility and choice in your career.

To get ready for the industry, strong focus is given to the employability skills, industry applied knowledge and use of technology across the subjects.

Built into your qualification are two Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects, competed over two trimesters.

In the study period prior to your first WIL subject, we work closely with you to secure a suitable placement that is the best fit for your skills, interests and professional goals.

Your placement could take you anywhere in Australia, or internationally. It is all about securing the most suitable placement for you.

That means that by the time you graduate you will have work experience on your CV; a network of contacts in your chosen industry; and the confidence to jump straight into your career.

The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree has been accredited by professional accounting bodies Charted Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), CPA Australia and by ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, providing a solid endorsement of quality.

Upon completion of the degree, students will be able to enter CA ANZ and CPA professional level programs directly and immediately register as Associate Members.

The Bachelor of Business (Accounting) has also been recognised by ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. This means that graduates receive exemptions for foundation exams and satisfy entry requirements into the professional level qualification, similar to CA ANZ and CPA Australia.
