PhD (Information Systems), PhD (Accounting & Corporate Governance)
Dr Ilja Nastjuk is on the Senior Academic Team at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS). He is a Senior Lecturer, teaching subjects in the fields of IT, data analytics, accounting, and strategy.
Dr Nastjuk holds a Master degree in Management (University of Göttingen), a PhD in Information Systems (University of Göttingen), and a PhD in Accounting and Corporate Governance (Macquarie University)
He began his career as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Göttingen, Germany. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Göttingen and a Ph.D. in Accounting and Corporate Governance from Macquarie University in Sydney.
Dr Nastjuk’s research interests encompass the impact of technology on stress and human behaviour, the management of information security, and the adoption of self-driving cars. His work has been featured in numerous peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, including the European Journal of Information Systems, Computers & Security, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Electronic Markets, Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology, and the International Conference on Information Systems.
In addition to his academic pursuits, he serves as a Content Specialist for Data Analytics at CA ANZ, where he provides leadership and direction in developing and facilitating curricula in data analytics and IT.

Organising the Special Issue “Smart cities, Smart governance models for future cities“ (2022), and has served as a reviewer for Academic Journals such as European Journal of Information Systems, Electronic Markets, Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour, Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment.
