Aspire Institute offers stand-alone qualifications such as English, Foundation and Diplomas that also offer you a pathway to University or College.
ICMS has an inclusive approach to education – we help our students to achieve their career goals whether it is directly through our bachelor degrees or via our pathway programs with Aspire Institute. Aspire Institute is another way for you to start your ICMS degree. At ICMS we know that academic results in the past aren’t always an indicator of your future academic success. We support your transition to further study with three programs from the Aspire Institute: the Diploma program, the Foundation program, and the Aspire Academic English language courses.
Pathway Options
Aspire Institute Diploma programs
Diploma programs can be completed as a qualification in their own right or as a pathway program to the second year of University or College. Diplomas are available in all ICMS specialisations and the subjects you complete will count towards your ICMS degree. Upon successful completion of your diploma, you can directly enter the second year of the ICMS bachelor’s degree. Learn more
Diploma programs start at the same time as ICMS degrees and can typically be completed in 8 months:
- Diploma of Business – *pathway to the second year of a bachelor’s degree at Macquarie University (MQU), University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Western Sydney University (WSU), University of Wollongong (UOW) or the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS)
- Diploma of Business (Fashion and Global Brand Management) – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Business (Marketing) – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Business (Entrepreneurship) – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Event Management – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Hospitality Management – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Business (International Tourism) – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Property – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Business (Sports Management) – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Business (Accounting) – pathway to ICMS
- Diploma of Information Technology – pathway to ICMS
*Students of the Aspire Institute Diploma of Business may progress, upon completion, to any of the following Universities or Colleges:

Aspire Institute Foundation program
The Foundation program is your stepping stone to higher education if you have not completed the final year of high school. Successful completion enables students to enter the first year of an ICMS Bachelor degree. Learn more
Aspire Institute Academic english programs
This program is designed for students who meet the academic requirements for our pathways but need or would like additional English language proficiency before commencing study. Students will develop the essay and report writing, presentation and critical thinking skills in English that are required for success in undergraduate study. In addition, classes are restricted to a maximum of 18 students, ensuring a high level of individual support and assistance throughout the program.
