Advice and Advocacy

Your voice on campus

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is elected by students for students, with the SRC President holding a position on the Learning and Teaching Committee. As well as organising loads of fun activities, the SRC represents students’ views on academic issues, presenting them back to the College. The SRC gives students the forum to voice their views, and also gives the College valuable feedback from the people who matter most – our students.

Academic advice and support

Our Student Success Centre (SSC) has Academic Learning Advisors who can help you develop your academic skills and prepare you for the cultural change to tertiary student life. Book an appointment.

Wellness advice

The ICMS Student Wellness Team offers proactive and compassionate support for the mental health and overall wellbeing of the student community. They’re dedicated to establishing a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive and feel valued.

The team’s mission is to empower students to excel academically, emotionally and socially. They provide unwavering support, foster inclusion, and continuously improve our practices to create a harmonious and thriving educational community. If students ever feel overwhelmed or encounter personal challenges, they can reach our Student Wellness Team and receive the support they need. Book an appointment.

Legal advice

If you need legal advice or legal aid, please consult a legal professional. Speak to the Student Success Centre or contact the team via this form if you’d like them to direct you to an external legal professional.
