ICMS recognised the academic excellence and commitment demonstrated by our top-performing students at the Dean’s List Ceremony on Wednesday 26 March 2026.
The students received awards for their academic efforts during last year’s May and August trimesters.
Dean’s List recipients are the highest-ranked students in their respective courses, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.5 out of 5.0 per trimester, while being enrolled in at least three subjects per trimester.
The ceremony was hosted by two ICMS Deans, Dr Leonid Petrov (Business and Management) and Dr Nicole Hay (Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management). They acknowledged the hard work, consistency and determination it takes to make the Dean’s List, before presenting the awards.
Bachelor of Business student Alexandra Cook gave a speech on behalf of all Dean’s List recipients. Alexandra is an active member of the ICMS community as a member of the Student Representative Council (SRC), former acting SRC President, and regular contributor to academic governance meetings.
Professor Heidi Le Sueur, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) at ICMS, said of the Dean’s List: “It reflects genuine engagement, persistence, and a passion for learning. Congratulations to all the students whose efforts were celebrated – you’ve set a high standard for what’s possible. You can find your names on the Dean’s List boards in our castle on the first level.”
